A bit long winded, but here you go:

Is there any way that I can create a variation of Ubuntu based on it's own repositories and then netboot the resulting system read only as part of a netboot?

I want to be able to deploy multiple workstations that all use the same base system for their OS, and then have local mounts for storage.

Obviously I'd like to be able to benefit from the Ubuntu repos of software, so that's why I'm wondering if it's doable through packages.

Thanks for any help & suggestions!
