i would like to switch my MSI Wind U100 Notebook from microsoft to ubuntu 8.04 LTS, but i don't have any CD rom drive and so can't boot from CD...
I can use a friends computer to copy the contents of the installation disk onto an external Harddisk or USB stick and get them onto my notebook in that way.
but how can i install the OS without being able to book from CD (wich i even could if i only had an external CD drive...)?
