I got the free Desktop edition CD and installed it on my PC which already contains windows XP.
I selected the second option from the autorun menu and the installation took around 10 minutes.
Now when I restart I got 2 options.
1.Windows
2.Ubuntu
When I select Ubuntu I got again a list of commands.
1.normal boot
2.etc
3.etc
When I select any of the options I only get a console screen.
I dont know what to do to get the desktop.
Plzz let me know how to get the desktop.
