Hi! I'm Italian, so sorry for my mistakes.

I can't install Ubuntu. I understood that there is a conflict between my grafic hardware (it is from 2002, ati radeon igp 320 m) and Hardy Heron.
I know this because I tried ubuntu alternate, kubuntu alternate and xubuntu desktop and the three of them failed at the same point. That is when the x, the grafic environment, should be loaded. More exactly, the installation stops and my monitor turn off.

In the alternate installations, the installations said "installation step failed" in the step called "selection and installation of the software", near 85%, just before installing xorg.

Ok, in the past I used successfully Ubuntu Edgy Eft 6.10.

I had a small ram, only 215 MB, but i guess It's enough.

I had enough hard disk space.

I tried to install with the options noapic and nolapic, but the problem still exists.

Could you help me?

This is the last line in kern.log, immediately after the error:
