[SOLVED] Errors on disk??????

HI there I have burned 3 different distros of Ubuntu in the past month and they are all fine on the computer that burned them but on another computer that I am trying to install at least one of them on all the disks show that there are errors on the disk.....

Are thies install disks that picky, or is it cause it is a live CD that I am using and one of the Alt. iso's would be better?????

Well I found out what the problem was.....

A BAD IDE CABLE.....:mad:

I have been having problems with one of my cd drives but I thought it just took a crap on me but I guess I should have checked it out earlier.....:(

once I swaped that out I tried to check for errors on the disk and found none:guitar: so now I am installing Hardy finally.:popcorn:


I just hope that Hardy will find controllers for my chipset cause that is what controlles the onboard NIC..... wish me luck.:lolflag:
