I am trying to stall ubuntu onto my memory stick (2gb) and already have a 1 gb linux ext 2 partition on it. Do I just drag and drop a copy of the hardy cd files onto my stick? And should I use xubuntu if I only have 1gb to use?
thanx

I used a handy little program called UNetBootin to put any iso on a flash memory stick and make it bootable. Check it out:
