View Full Version : [kde] Map the K menu in KDE 4.1 to super key

Help! I have a keyboard with the windows key on it and when I press it, it won't open the K menu. I have noticed this in KDE 3.5 also. I know my windows logo key isn't broken, cause I have a windows XP virtual machine and when I press super it opens the start menu thingamadooie. I also want to know how to fix my mute/unmute toggle buttons, as they won't do anything, however it does work in KDE 3.5. Thanks!

It's usually not possible to do that, since the Super key acts as a modifier key. You could, however, remap it, following the tutorial here:
