Guys, I need a(?) whitepaper(s) on multi-core processors - either Intel or AMD. Any paper that can describe the block diagram and the architecture of multi-cores in detail.. I'd really really appreciate the effort.. I've already tried really hard but couldn't find any.

Thanks!!

I don't really think you'll get any seriously detailed info...intel tries to minimize technical details leaked. And its not very easy for academics to white papers about it since its kinda small & difficult to reverse engineer.

I suspect that this is about as good as it gets (and frankly thats pretty thin):

If you need it for an essay etc then try to slant it more towards the Larrabee angle.

Wikipedia is always a good starting place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-core - Follow the links from there and you'll find a lot of info.

Also try Googling for "multi-core processor architecture", for example.
