hi to everybody

i saw in system monitor the cpu1 reach 30% and cpu2 almost 40% i just wanted to know if this is correct CPU scaling of my acer X3200 here's my output,..

AMD Processor

AM2 Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 940
2.6 GHz, 2000Mhz HT, 65nm, 1MB L2 Cache

iwantlemonjuice@iwantlemonjuice-desktop:~$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_frequencies

2600000 2400000 2200000 2000000 1800000 1000000

i think this is so much high, how to decrease this issue???

thanks and much appreciated

Apologies for the thread hijack, but I just bought an Acer Aspire X3200 yesterday, and cannot get X working in anything other than boring VESA 800x600 :-(
Did you get X drivers working on your Geforce 9300GE, and if so -- how?
