Whenever I run Firefox, the window automatically goes full screen. How can I resolve this?

Hello all, I'm facing the same without knowing how to correct it... only hitting F11 Twice puts back everything to normal :(
Any Ideas??

That's because firefox stores the last session's window size and placement, however if you have used F11 once to restore it:

if it's still in full window mode press F11

Now, resize the window and quit firefox.

Everytime you use F11 to put firefox in full-screen mode you must do these steps to put it back to normal.

There is another fix I found around here, cant seem to find it now. There is a setting in compiz, if you go to the compiz manager then go into the general options I think its on the first tab. Something called "...Window resize..." I am not near my Ubuntu machine so dont have the correct name
