Is anybody able to read Prajavani / Udayavani?

I have copied ShreeKan850.ttf and ShreeDeccan.ttf to /usr/fonts folder abd ran fc-chache -c -v command from terminal. Still I am bnot able to get the fonta displayed in Firefox. Anyone? TIA :)

you can try installing ttf-indic-fonts package in ubuntu

Yes, it worked for me after installing SHREE850.ttf from http://www.udayavani.com/help.asp?nosession=y&

On one linux computer, I just double clicked it and it installed the font. On another linux computer I had to do it manually.

On a windows XP PC, to read Udayavani in firefox, just copy the above font to C:\windows\fonts
