I am trying to install the last of 1200+ upgrades to an older version of Ubuntu using update manager. The computer was installed with Ubuntu 6.06 from a live CD and the updated using the update manager. All was going as it should except for this last step. Error message reads:

Could not download the upgrades

The upgrade aborts now. Please check your Internet connection or installation media and try again.

Looking at the names of what I'm missing makes me wonder if this a joke. Help me get these "sexy" upgrades. Maybe there is a workaround I'm missing.
