Can you please quickly do following test and report back? I have an issue with animation effects for rotated text, and I would like to see it confirmed. I suspect it is a linux only, or perhaps even Ubuntu only issue, so please help out even if you are using another linux flavour.

* Open a new Impress presentation
* Draw a line from bottom left to top right
* Start typing such that text is put on the line.
* Add animation to the object ("Custom animation"): Wipe - Speed medium
* Start the animation: I have got an ugly issue with the display of text during animation.

For me, during animation, characters are rotated over the wrong angle. Only when the animation is finished are the characters redrawn at their correct position (and antialiased). I have this on the Ubuntu version of OOo 2.4.1 on Hardy.

Please help by testing the issue on your system to confirm it. It takes only one minute.

I don't see anything wrong happening.
OOo 2.4.1 on Intrepid.
