Yes, I understand it may sound strange to hear this question here.....
This is my problem: I'm a Linux user since years and I have a big archive of emails (Kmail). Now, I am receiving a computer from a company I work for, to be used to control external devices (scientific instruments, all proprietary software). This runs with Win XP.

It would be practical to have a couple folders from my mail archive (Kmail) available on this XP based computer, to be used with Outlook.

I found countless references about importing mail data from Outlook to other mail programs such as Thunderbird or Kmail, but nothing that could be useful in my case. Any ideas ?

Please note that i'm NOT migrating from Linux to Windows. My own computers will stay Linux.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Franz

Hi,

Not to sure on this but there used to be an option for importing/exporting to any client ( the list was over 50, including Outlook) I used it a few years back, haven't checked on it lately though, not even sure how it was invoked.

Regards, Ellgor.
