Well, this is one I haven't seen before, so I hope somebody can help me.
I upgraded from 8.04 to the latest two days ago and when it tried to log back in, I had to go to a lower resolution. Also, the circles are now slightly ovals since I have my new widescreen. I traced the problem to the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file that I created when I upgraded from 6.06 to 8.04 several days ago. I'm unfamiliar with the type of errors when I logged in at full resolution. Has the SiS driver been ported to 8.10 yet? Could it be something else??
thanks in advance.
