ok having trouble with ubuntu. First of all I couldn't get my live cd to boot when I restarted my comp. Finally got that fixed and I get into a live session of ubuntu. I install ubuntu and restart my computer. Asks me to boot xp or ubuntu. I choose ubuntu and it starts a live session again. Where is my fully installed version of ubuntu? I dont have the live cd in my cd drive. To fix the problem with the live cd booting in the first place I booted xp and ran the cd. When it asked for live session/full download, install in xp, and help with boot, I chose help with boot. Now my question is, everytime I choose to boot ubuntu is it booting the live session instead of my installed version? and how do I fix it?

system specs-
running an old amd single core 3000+ (roughly 1.9 ghz)
2 gig ram
windows xp/Ubuntu
3x 100gig hard drives

Any ideas I would greatly appreciate.
