Dell D600 Install

Hi All,

I have just joined so please excuse my ignorance of any required protocols.
I wish to install Ubuntu on to my Dell D600 laptop and would like to read up on any issues that I may come up against before I start, such as driver problems etc.
Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Hi, and welcome.
Given the variety of hardware used in Dell's laptops, it's virtually impossible to answer your question reliably. Get yourself a live CD and run from it. This way you can test what works and what doesn't without installing or doing changes to your computer.
