Just models. Some of them are different people.

I don't even know why they put people on there. Just want some gfx and the logo.

I dunno... It'd be pretty darn awesome to be on the front cover of an Ubuntu CD, pretty darn awesome....

I for one wouldn't want to be on the cover.

But even if you want to be one the cover, saying you would want to be like those people seems very strange too me.

I'd imagine they put people on there because they're branding Ubuntu as !Linux for Human Beings".
