installation problem

i got the edubuntu 8.04 cd.

a pop up showed a message like addon volume detected. so i clicked on "start addon installer". i later got the msg Error reading the addon CD
The addon CD may be corrupt.Did i do something wrong or is the CD bad? Cos i got the CD mailed by Ubuntu.

Sorry for the late reply. What speed did you burn the Edubuntu addon image? Typically, most feel that burning slower is better. I usually burn at 4x and never have a problem. Also, check the physical CD. Make sure there are no scratches.
