Hello. I'm unable to get the games at pogo to work properly.
I have a fresh install of Ubuntu Hardy:
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04
Codename: hardy

My machine is a Compaq Pres. Laptop C500

My wifi is:
*-network
description: Wireless interface
product: BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI
vendor: Broadcom Corporation
physical id: 0
bus info: pci@0000:06:00.0
logical name: wlan0
version: 01
serial: 00:1a:73:26:af:ad
width: 32 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: bus_master cap_list ethernet physical wireless
configuration: broadcast=yes driver=ndiswrapper+bcmwl5 driverversion=
1.52+Broadcom,11/02/2005, 4.10.4 ip=192.168.2.3 latency=0 module=ndiswrapper
multicast=yes wireless=IEEE 802.11g

I have not installed any java.
The program 'java' can be found in the following packages:
* java-gcj-compat-headless
* openjdk-6-jre-headless
* j2re1.4
* kaffe
* cacao
* gij-4.1
* jamvm
* gij-4.2
* sablevm

I have tried java6-jre, icedtea, openj, and java5 along with the
browser (FireFox 3) plus updated the browser etc, none of which
worked properly. When I did get one version to halfway work
it caused my downloads to stall and hang up. I have now a
fresh install with wireless working great. Anyone have a
tried and true method of installing java and flash that works
on Pogo?

Thanks in Advance.

I accept email help/tips regarding this or any other
Ubuntu tips/tweaks etc.

p.s. I also installed the plugins for the browser with java5&6.
