My upgrade manager froze... can I kill it?

I'm in the middle of a partial upgrade, and I am all the way at the end when it is "cleaning up." It has been sitting on "Processing triggers for python-support" for over an hour now. Can I kill the app it without messing anything up?

Same thing here, happened with yesterdays updates and again today...

Yep, me too. I did a 'ps -A' to get the process number and killed it that way. Didn't seem to make anything worse.
