Why does Ubuntu only offer Eclipse 3.2? Eclipse 3.4 has been released and has many new features. The Android sdk doesn't even work with 3.2 and most distros support eclipse 3.4.
Sure I could manually install the tar ball, but I prefer to have apt-get/synaptic/etc manage my packages. So why no 3.4? What's up with that?
BTW, if I created a .deb (not that I know how to do that) from the tar ball could I get Ubuntu to use it?
