like hardy?

and anyone know how to add repos to get a program/package or 2 from intrepid if you wanna use it in hardy?
say gimp 2.6?
how would you set that up? or how would you set it up if you wanted to dist-upgrade when 8.10 comes out?

i had NO IDEA where to post this, this seemed right, if there's a proper place to post intrepid related questions, let me know so In case i dont make the same mistake..
thanks

by the way, if i were to do a dist-upgrade when the final comes out, would it update the kernel too? or would i have to do a clean install to get the latest kernel that comes with Intrepid?

GIMP 2.6 is not in Intrepid. ATM, Its available from 3rd party repos.
