Hey yall,
I'm super new to ubuntu and I was asked if i could help my brother out with his problem. So i am asking you if you can help me out with his problem.
he's trying to install ubuntu on a desktop with a cd. The cd already is a bootable cd I have used it in my computer and it works fine. When he puts it in his drive and boots from the cd it starts and then goes to the screen with the little bar that goes back and forth before the login screen. (i think it is called the splash screen) that is where it stay's. we have watched it for about 10-20min and it still goes back and forth so the computer didnt freeze. What is causing this and how can i fix it? thanks in advance. (i know my grammer and spelling is terrible please bear with me)
