Hi,

first of all sorry for posting the question. I KNOW for sure that this must have been asked before, but I just canīt find it...

I want to have a server with sftp where users are pointed to their homedirectories.

I have already installed ubuntu, openssh-server and ftpd-ssl, but I canīt find a way to change the users to their homedirectories...

Should I rather take something else like VSFTPD or is it possible with ftpd-ssl, aswell?

I thought it to be a rather simple task but I think Iīm stuck... :(

The second step would be creating usergroups with shared folders..

I hope that someone can give me a link or an answer, since Iīm quite stuck...

Thanks in advance!

Alex

I'd just use openssh-server and MySecureShell
