Should I update to python 2.6 just yet and if I can how? I installed it but I can't figure out how to get the idle and such.

What did you install? Python 2.6 or IDLE?

It should be under Applications->Programming, but no one ever got hurt from pressing alt + f2 and typing "idle".

If you are not expert admin, you are safer keeping the default version of Python.

Most 2.6 features you can import from __future__ into 2.5.

I installed 2.6 from the site. It wasn't IDLE. Actually if there is a way to close this topic plz do because I rather not change it now because I heard I can screw my system up. TY.
