Hi, I'm looking for an appliance similar to „Synergy“....I've got two computers, (one monitor); one has WINXP , the other Ubuntu 7.04. I don't need to share mouse or keyboard, but I want to show and operate both OS's on one split screen, with drag 'n' drop facilities etc. Is this possable? I'd prefer GUI-operated app. If anybody can help me out here, much obliged.

There isnt any way im aware of to allow xp/ubuntu to share the same monitor space. You can however network the machines to transfer files, etc. You could also run XP in a virtual machine, or vice versa. But 2 os's on one monitor, on separate machines, dont think so.

You probably want a VNC client. TightVNC works well for Windows, I don't know if there's a Linux version.
