Is it possible to have two panels that have separate Window Lists (aka taskbar)? I'd like to have a panel on the top of my screen that has some windows, and another on the bottom that has my other windows.

Thanks for any help.

It is possible to have two 'taskbars' with all your open windows. I do not think that you can have some windows on the top and some windows on the bottom, though.

To add another window list to your other panel, right click on an empty area and click 'Add to Panel', find Window list, select it and press Add.

Thanks, ya I found that. But what I want is to put half my windows on one taskbar and half on the other.

I don't believe it's possible at the moment with gnome-panel.
