Firefox 3.0.3 - How minimize window ?

I am struggling with Firefox 3.0.3 on my MacBook2,1 because it displays all the screen and I can't start another application without close it.
There is no way to minimize Firefox.

I am using Intrepid 8.10 with Gnome 2.24.

you can minimize any window with your keyboard - even without seeing the top part of the window.
just press alt + space and then m

edit: the keys might be different in different languages, but the principle stays the same
