It shows "text editor" like a bajillion times. Why is it doing this to me? How do I fix it?

Same problem here :|

Probably hundreds of entries for 'Text Editor' and 'VLC media player'.

Happens to me too, with me, duplicate apps never have an icon. So I have like 12 "Text Editor" entries, and only one will have an icon.
