Upgrade and go to 64-bit simultaneously

Hello, All,

I would like to upgrade to 8.10, and switch from 32-bit to 64-bit, to give that a try.

Obviously the easiest way would be a fresh install from a 64-bit cd, but is there any way that I can upgrade? M'gut says no.
