im on a pretty tight budget, and i was wondering if anybody knew what i fairly budget friendly video card that could run compiz fusion at full specs would be.

Prerequisites



You need to be running at least the Dapper (6.06 LTS) release.
You need a supported video card. (See list below.)
You need to have video card drivers with 3D acceleration installed. See Hardware (https://help.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/desktopguide/C/hardware.html) on the Ubuntu Documentation for help with this.

AGP, PCI, or PCI-e? And what kind of budget are we talking about?

I would look for a used Nvidia 7600 series or 7300 if that's too much money. You might also find cheap, used ATI X16x0's.
