The bailout plan has finally passed, with tax support for small businesses. Will this really help the economy in the long run? I was worried about it not passing at first, but the more i read up on it the more that i think its a bad idea. For instance: if someone buys a house in our neighborhood for 50% of its total value, the rest of the neighborhood's houses reduce in value as a result. THIS IS WHAT THE BILL DOES WITH MONEY. hopefully there's something else I'm missing.

Discuss!

If it keeps me employed for at least a little while longer, and increases my chance of getting a home in the near future, I'm not going to complain.

I think what's more important is that the banks stop lending to deadbeats.
