autocreate a temp mount point

Hope your having a good day!

I want to create a script that will auto mount a smb share and it to create a mount point then once unmounted will delete the mount point.

I have been searching all day and not found anything, does anyone have any ideas?

Do you actually need a mount point? Most file managers can access smb shares as though they were local, effectively creating a temporary mount point. I know konqueror does, and I think nautilus as well, though I don't use Gnome myself).

I need one for the end users, just like mapping a share to a drive in windows.
