Still have a blank partition. Not only that, the latest version of ubuntu is asking me for a password.

When I put the CD in the drive, I only got prompted with what lanuage I wanted and then it goes to install, or install with changing, something like that and test etc...

Comes up with a window asking for my password.

I was not prompted at the begining for one.

Any ideas?

Now it is going to desktop and as soon as I hit the install button it asks for a password again.

How can I fix this?

Even if I click in on the desktop it wants a password?

It sounds like your LiveCD may be corrupt, since it should never ask for a password. When you get to the first menu of the LiveCD, there's an option to "Check CD For Defects", so you might want to run that.
