I have converted a number of animated .gif files with "Ogg Convert " into both "Theora" and " Dirac" format. My problem now is trying to locate a media player or better still a DVD Player to play them on. In their original format I could play them on Windows Fax Viewer. Anything else they were just still images. Any ideas ??

Hmm. VLC should play them. http://wiki.videolan.org/VLC_Features_Formats
Make sure you have all the libs:

sudo apt-get install dirac libdirac0c2a libtheora0 libvlc0
