Everytime I try to install Ubuntu or one of its variants I always get an error in which I cannot mount the CD-ROM during the install. (As an aside, I tried installing gOS and got a BusyBox console for much the same reason)
I'm using the text installer for Ubuntu 8.04.1 at the moment and I'm getting an error saying
Detect and mount CD-ROM
-----------------------
Your installation CD-ROM couldn't be mounted. This probably means that the CD-ROM was not in the drive. If so blah balh blah
The CD is obviously in the drive. What are my options?
