I am having an issue with getting Conky to use the double buffering.
I have added dbe under the modules section and it doesn't solve my problem.

Here is the version of kernel I am using,
Linux labyrinth 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Aug 20 22:56:21 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

Here is the output when I run conky from the command line

Conky: use_spacer should have an argument of left, right, or none. 'yes' seems to be some form of 'true', so defaulting to right.
Conky: desktop window (12000ba) is subwindow of root window (13b)
Conky: window type - override
Conky: drawing to created window (3200001)
Conky: failed to set up double buffer
Conky: drawing to single buffer

Here is my conkyrc file

According to this post on an nVidia forum (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=110660), Xinerama prevents the double buffering extension from being initialized.

So you have to either disable Xinerama, or let conky flicker.
