I have searched and not seen my exact issue. I have a standard x86. I allowed upgrade manager to upgrade from Breezy Badger to Hardy Heron. Everything seemed to go OK. I hope I answered all the questions correctly, but might have made a mistake on the login option. Once the install was complete and the system rebooted, the login screen only showed one user with no name. Also the PS2 keyboard had limited and the mouse no response.
I can get to a command line, and login as root.
Can anyone point me to the location and name of the file that will restore my normal login screen with user choices. Also how do I get my keyboard/mouse operational.
I have backup files on a second internal drive that I can get to.
