Hi All

I have downloaded and installed 8.4 . . . . on my ageing Dell Optiplex GX400 (1.4Ghz / 256MB RAM / Hard disc 0 Maxtor 20GB Pata / 2nd Hard disc SATA via a PCI controller.

The test run prior to install seemed to work fine so I proceeded with the install which appeared to "load" until the first reboot where I received the message:-
"If you want to install Linux default Partition Raid Driver, Please do not use OPROM creation operation."
There are options to:
Tab to enter the Raid utility (which does nothing)
F1 - retry or
F2 enter setup.

Whilst I haven't got a raid setup I do have the PCI sata card to drive a samsung 1TB hard drive.

I can't get past this stage unless I run ubuntu from the cdrom.
As this is my first Ubuntu experience I can't get far enough to learn more.

I would be really grateful for any pointers so sort this out.
