My English teacher offered me a book called watership down.

I saw the cover, and thought "oh great, rabbits :rolleyes:"

I was wrong!

now i cant sleep, then to make things worse i heard there was a movie, watched that!

i got to go... cry in the corner.

The book was awesome in a disturbing way. The movie was LAME.

i liked the movie better, actually.

EDIT: we are both talking about the 1978 movie, right? not the crappy remake.

It felt kind of softened up to me. The remake was worse though...

That's one of the few novels I can vividly remember from my English classes. Something about psycho rabbits hellbent on spreading their horrid government across the down introduced a bit of cognitive dissonance about those cute, cuddly creatures.

Liked the book the movie was ok.

Have you's read "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" that's a good book bit like Watership down.
