Hey all,
I recently installed Ubuntu 8.04 HH and quickly realized that Ubuntu appears to have mislabeled? or auto installed an incorrect driver for my Dvd Rom. When I browse to it's icon under computer it labels it as CD-ROM/Blu-ray-RE drive and it's a DVD rom. I can play cd's ... it will auto mount and load the default music player, but when i put in a DVD it freezes up. I'm assuming this if from a bad driver install. Could someone enlighten me as to how I might solve this problem?
I've done some searches to find information regarding similar issues and all the forums seem to be dominated by graphic card drivers.
Cheers,
J
