View Full Version : [ubuntu] Blender 3D And Tray Icons Don't Work Right On wmii

I just found wmii, and I found it to be very efficient and was thinking of using it as my primary window manager.

However, I've found two problems with it so far:-

1. If I launch Pidgin, or some other app which makes a tray icon, the tray icon isn't displayed anywhere, and if I close the Pidgin window, Pidgin still runs in the background and I have to 'sudo killall' it.

2. When I run Blender 3D on wmii, it automatically opens up to the floating layer, and goes fullscreen. It doesn't accept any input, and just get stuck there.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks for your help! :)
