View Full Version : [ubuntu] Kernel Panic

Im trying to get Ubuntu to run on a drive with Mac OS and i installed mac first its working and i left 2gb for swap and like 35gb for ubuntu and installed it and can get to the grub menu then when i select to boot it i get an error 17 which i know how to fix from earlier help but now i get.

I started having this same problem on Friday. I don't have any tips for you, but I will be watching this thread for advice. Good luck to you.

Turns out that my problem was memory related. Have you run memtest86+ to see if everything checks out yet? I put in a new RAM chip and am back up and running.
