How do I know whether my installed Ubuntu 8.04 is with SMP?

I typed the command 'uname -a' and that's what I received:

Linux ubuntu804 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Aug 20 17:53:40 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Does that mean the installation procedure already installed SMP for me automagically and I don't need to upgrade manually?

(in 6.06 I had to install SMP manually, so I am asking to make sure that I didn't miss anything).
