I'm my swimming team's captain and as such I have the power to get new swimsuits for the guys hehe
the thing is.. I have some ideas but I'm not any good with logo designing or working with vector tools.
I don't have any money to pay for professional assistance, hence I ask the community :D
the logo will be used in these type of swimsuit(drag shorts):

I wanted a logo with the word UNIÃO (union, in portuguese), in capital letters and maybe some stars coming from the background... the swimsuit will have a "retro" (like in 70's) feel, with two stripes: one red and one green (my club's colors).
the only limitation is the number of colours: black, red, green, yellow, and white.
Hope someone can help me.
