install ubuntu on my HP iPAQ h1915

Olla,

I'm an absolute fan of Ubuntu BUT a noob.
I own a Pocket PC (see title)
I can't get those two to connect
and I'd like to install a Linux-based OS
on my Pocket PC. My TOCHIBA laptop is running with
ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.4.0 . My pocket pc windows 2002.

I've read a lot on the fora but nothing seems to go as it should.
Probably I'm doing things wrong.

I hope I can find someone here to help me step by step.
