Hello fellow ubuntuers'...
I have tried to install the Xubuntu Alternate CD install, and am stuck at a portion where it asks which version of the kernel do I want to install.... this is part of what it says....
Kernel version
kernel-generic
kernel-generic(image)
kernel-2.423525325235 (image) (I don't know the number)
It asks me which one to install, I think there were 4 choices, is this so that I could install the newest one, I'm connected to Ethernet by the way.
Would it be better for me to install the newest or the generic, etc. I would trust it over the internet moreso than the CD (I think my CD drive needs cleaned, but it works fine after a try or 2).
