Hello, I have installed other versions but this time it is no joy, I have an HP dx5150, AMD Ath64 and lots of RAM, everything seems to install fine, I first tried the 64bit version, I could only log in using Failsafe GNOME mode, but it was kludgy at best, so I download the i386 version, it also only lets me log in using failsafe mode, but I get a background and nothing else, I can change the background, I can add a folder, but not launch anything. I have installed lots of Linux distros' but I have never seen this before, any help you be greatly appreciated.
