View Full Version : [ubuntu] Applications Menu Bar Missing

I installed the update to Firefox today - not sure if this is related.

My Applications menu panel only contains the FireFox icon, Evolution icon, and Help icon. No other menus are available.

The right side contains the normal stuff - just the Applications menu is gone.

I've delete $HOME/.config/menu/applications.menu and restarted. No difference.

I ran xfce4-panel and received this message:
The program 'xfce4-panel' is currently not installed.
(it was working fine before the FF update, not sure if this needs to be reinstalled?)

[[just out of curiosity, I installed xfce4-panel and no change.]]

I have been able to add Launch icons, but that doesn't get my menu back.

Help! Anyone have any ideas?
